Its Just About Time For Spring Cleaning Fargo ND…

It has been a few weeks since my last post, and I feel like the winter is coming to an end here in Fargo, finally! Our company has been very busy with commercial cleaning jobs. With winter just about over, here are some spring cleaning tips.

We see a lot of sand and grit coming into buildings and its also the case with your home as well. It gets tracked in on wet shoes. Sand is very destructive to carpet and flooring in general. It gets easily embedded into carpet and sifts deep down to the base of your carpet. This sand constantly wears your carpet fiber and makes it easy to collect other kinds of dirt and debris. The solution to this to make sure you vacuum, vacuum, vacuum. Get as much of this sand out as you can, your carpet will last much longer if you do. Also, high power carpet steam cleaning (like what our company offers) is very good at flushing out embedded sand and dirt in your carpet. Hot water and high vacuum suction pulls out sand like nothing else. If you want to get involved and do it yourself, I put together a great article about it here.

Walk off mats are also an inexpensive way to combat sand and grit this time of year. Melting snow, mud and slop can be tracked off a mat to relieve your carpet and flooring of the mess. Find a walk off mat with a rubber backing, to prevent the water from escaping.

Dust. Since most homeowners in Fargo keep their windows shut during a winter of -20 below zero, now is a great time to get them open and do some dusting. Open (2) or more windows to get some ventilation moving through your home, and dust your house top to bottom. Turn on your ceiling fans if you have them, and the ventilation will bring in some much needed fresh air, and get rid of accumulated dust from the winter.

Windows. If you tackle windows yourself, make sure you have the right ladders to reach the windows, or see if you can handle the job from INSIDE the house. A good tip here is to use Rain-X on your windows, this will help your windows stay clean longer, and prevent water spots.

  1. Dear Webmaster,
I am overwhelmed with the true and accurate content on your web blog and as the founder of the NON profit carpet cleaning consumer guide I would like to ask you an important question…My question is: Would you like to have a totally Free endorsement from the carpet cleaning consumer guide? It’s a very popular website here in Australia and a totally free and non profit service.

It never cost you anything and it is helping many carpet cleaners around the world as it lends quite a bit of credibility to any carpet cleaner using it on their blog or website…some people use it on both.

I would be honored to have you on board too
As we are a free carpet cleaning consumer guide dedicated to educate the public about the carpet cleaning industry and help bring more business to the honest and reliable carpet cleaners I would be honored if you chose one or more of the endorsements on the following link

If you are not interested and can’t see the benefit to you then please simply reply by saying thanks but no thanks.
Thank you kindly and I hope we can work together to help our wonderful industry.

    All my best.
