Happy Holidays! Here Is What Happens When Holiday Parties Get Out Of Control… And How We Solved This Carpet Problem

So, Happy Holiday’s from your very own Big Fish Service Company!

It is yet another year quickly coming to a close here in Fargo.  I am smiling, since not only has the weather been great, but our very own NDSU Bison football team are heading to the semi-finals as I write this post.  That brings me to the topic of this post.

Holiday Cheer, parties and/or perhaps, too much of a good thing.  It is the season for spreading holiday cheer, and in this case the holiday excess was spread all over the carpet.  So much so, that the people could not sleep at their house after it happened- the smell was bad.

Believe me, it smelled worse than the picture looks.

Take a look.

The result of too much food and too much DRINKING afterwards

As it happens, the residents called our company to find out if there was anything we could do about it.  In most of these cases, we can usually do SOMETHING to help out.   After taking a look at the problem, we pre-treated the are with a disinfectant and steam cleaned the area.  After the first cleaning, most of it came out, but we decided to saturate the area with an enzyme in boiling hot water to really flush the carpet out and get it clean.

Here is what our cleaning process looks like.

Steam Cleaning- Besides the vomit, the carpet needed cleaning, you can see the clean/dirty area contrast.

After everything was done, the carpet got very clean, probably much cleaner than it was before the vomit accident.  You can see the end results here.

The results after cleaning. It's a Christmas Miracle!
